![]() We're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. We were misinformed by our distributor as it should not have gone up yet. NOTE: We've been kindly asked to remove the listing from our site. We have just received word from our distributor of a Fortress Maximus scheduled for release Q4 2016 with an MSRP of $149.99! This should be the Titans Return Headmaster figure! We have put up pre-orders on the site: Toy Dojo – Not Found Interesting – that Fall 2016 tag might explain this -> Or have they pushed back the release of the entire line to allow for the last of the CW figures to be released and then have TR on the shelves in time for Christmas 2016….?Ĭan anyone shed some light on this for me….? When they say Fall 2016, I would assume that they are talking about Wave 2, with Wave 1 scheduled for release in the summer. Now, at Botcon, ALL of the figures are shown with a Fall 2016 release date. Online retailers are taking pre-orders with a July estimated ship date. Earlier this year (I believe at NYTF), the release date for Titans Return was listed as "Summer 2016" and I think that July might have even been thrown out as the release date. Could these be possible hints at future figures? Check out the pics and decide for yourselves! And stay tuned, as we may be getting better looks at these guys tomorrow at the Hasbro panel… And interestingly enough, it’s been pointed out that Chromedome’s boxart Titanmaster head looks suspiciously similar that of Getaway’s. In addition there’s some new Titanmasters, specifically Apeface as reported earlier, and also an all-new one, Clobber… who seems to heavily resemble Grimlock’s head. The backs of the boxes in this display also give us our very first glimpses at Titans Return Deluxe class Wolfwire (Weirdwolf) and Highbrow! We also get another look at Voyager class Alpha Trion. Check them out and many, many more images after the break! ![]() They’ve also gotten creative with some of the posing, with Max ripping Astrotrain apart and the Sweep blasting Chromedome to smithereens. ![]() My favourite pic from the display so far is a wonderfully posed shot of Chromedome and Rewind. Taking over from Combiner Wars, Titans Return is bringing back the era of the Headmasters in a big way – and a very big way, thanks to the inclusion of a Titan class Fortress Maximus in the line!Ĭheck out this post for oodles of images, covering everything from the Leader class Powermaster Optimus Prime, to Deluxe class figures like Mindwipe and Blurr, to the smaller guys like Wheelie. I added a post from one of my Nonnef hands to allow him to hold it upright but this is not a piece that most people will just have lying around. We’re at Botcon 2016 and we bring you lots and lots of images of Hasbro’s Titans Return display. It really doesn't look the part for a gun and I prefer it to be a sword like the original figure. My only other critique is the implementation of his Tail as a weapon. For the first Decepticon Headmaster to have these kind of issues is a bummer but luckily it doesn't seem to be an issue with any of the other deluxe molds. User reports seem to indicate that the Takara version shares this issue as well. This can be fixed with some nail polish or floor polish so it's not the end of the world but it is frustrating that you should have to fix a brand new figure out of the box. His hip ball joints and mushroom pegs are incredibly loose and can cause issues while posing. Skullcruncher (Skullsmasher) looks amazing but he seems to be plagued with QC issues across the board. Decepticon Headmaster turned Comedian Skullcruncher has made his way to the deluxe line up for Titans Return.
